Im back at work place again... Same.. At the Unearthly hours of the night. Ya.. Been asked by My Aussie Boss to work Night to support the Process again..
See that pic? That Aussie Guy is my Boss till June. He's on contract. Phew... Capable Guy with 21years of Diaper making experience.. but too Aggressive for me le lah. No doubt he made Significance improvements to the mill.. But in order for a sudden improvement, sacrifices were made. There were quite afew people who left the mill, either due to better offers out there or couldn't adjust themselves to catch up with the change in management style in the mill.
I was Lucky to be pick to work under him. Through him, I really learn wat is PLANNING. In this world, there would never be any success without proper planning. PROPER PLANNING is the word, not just by gathering afew people, sitting down and just chat and say the plan is there and in the end, all kind of problems occured.
A good planning consist of pre and post meeting, relevant personnel involved, gathering all datas and all possible obstacles that might happened, improvements from previous experience, give FACTS and no bullshits etc.. This is the kind of thing that we were lacking in SINGAPORE. Well, its bcos we CHinese dun COMMUNICATE enough, thinking we can solve every thing by ourselves.
Flame me if you want, guys.. I'm speaking Facts. We were afraid to share our knowledge and experience, always thinking that the person beside you would overtake or win you. Singaporean Style of working ba I would say. ;)
Back to my Aussie Boss, when everything goes on well, he would joke and talk alot of cock and rubbish with you. MIND YOU... Don't go near him when there's a problem. He's a FReakiNg TIME BomB/ MINE, waiting for innocent people to step and TRIGGER him off!! WOH!! I got it from him alot of times, even though I was far far away when he exploded. LOL... Guess his area of impact was BIG Enough to cover the whole mill... ;p
I remembered this incident...I went out with him afew times and MAN.. I would never forget the experience of going to ORCHARD TOWERS with him!! Freaking SHit... He brought me and my chinese superior to a LadyBoys Pub. I was like a prey in the pub, those "ladies" were always MAKING eye contact to me, and smiling and brushing their bodies against me whenever they walk past. 1 tried to feed me my fave. strawberry POCKY biscuit stick with "her" mouth!! Eeee... When the Pub is closed for the day, 1 came over and hug me and whispered Good Nite... OH MY GOD!!! -_-"'
Anyway, I PROUDLY dedicate this Blog Entry to RAE KirKwOOd, St03 Machine Lead!!! Keep it up Rae, Get the Machine Running!!! Wahaha.....
